    Hi,

I've had my Clevo P150EM for 1½ months now and I'm pleased with it overall. My mate also bought one at the same time but got a bottom plate in poor condition (scratched and misscolored) he got a new one from the reseller and got to keep the old one.

He removed the holes to the fan intakes, made them a bit bigger and put a fine mesh over it. Got lower temps by doing this and the fans didn't have to ramp up to 6/6 like the other bottom plate.

So, my question is: does anyone know where I can get a hold of one of these bottom plates? If one can't be found without to much hassle, does modifying the bottom plate (no hardware at all) void the warranty?

The holes that I would modify are the left and right nr 2 in this picture http://www.any-battery.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/P150EM-Boden.jpg Possibly the 2 middle nr 2's as well, if that is worth it.

Also, can I use the bottom plate from a Sager NP9150? (Afaik, they are the same just a different name)

I have mailed my reseller but I know they are short staffed and sort of overloaded at the moment.

Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

You should be able to get them from any reseller. Just do a search for one near you. I can't see why that would effect the warranty if you do no damage to the internal components. Yes, the p150 is the same thing.
