The Montevina Clevo notebooks (M57xTU and M86xTU) will NOT have new models replacing them in the Clevo road map for 2009.

As for the M865TU.... do not make me start yelling at people again for bringing that up again.... go read this if you havent yet:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=310358

I explained the Clevo model number system in the Clevo Guide as well.

The D901C is probably going to have a replacement model in 2009, but there is no official confirmation. Must wait until CeBIT 2009 to really find out what Clevo has up their sleeves.

I'd read that thread first, because Gophn answered the same qustion over and over again in the thread as well as in other posts,

U no maybe the Clevo M865TU Thread need to be given a sticky or something b/c it disappears after few days in the forums, i no that there is that search option but newcomers mostly don't use it

Thats why the Clevo Guide is stickied.... since it explains the model # deciphering.

As Gophn noted, wait until CeBIT. That's where Clevo and other major makers will release new (significant) models if they are going to. The NP5797 is only a minor update.

I haven't seen the name change mentioned yet, so fyi, while Sager's 5796 is the Clevo M570TU, the 5797 is the Clevo M570 ETU, according to Prostar's site.
