The question should be clear, are there new notebooks with the Coffee Lake "U" class CPUs in the pipeline?

    No, they aren't.

Coffee Lake - U exclusively comes with Iris Pro GPUs, and outside of a few Apple and MSFT devices, just about nobody uses Iris Pro variants. Since Apple and MSFT have not updated their devices, Coffee Lake - U is currently not in any device on the market.

    The key selling points:

    28W TDP
4C/8T (though a single 2C/4T variant is offered)
    Iris Pro GT3e GPU
128MB eDRAM configured as Sideport Memory.

    EDIT: corrected L4$ to Sideport
