The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    New to drivers etc...

    My previous post mentioned that I just bought a sager np5796 with the new 9800gtx. I am new to drivers/bios etc and really have no idea how that stuff works...could someone explain to me if I need to get new drivers or perhaps send me a link that explains computer software upgrades? I am completely lost

    I doubt if any of us could send you a single link that would completely address such a broad question. I recommend you search this board and do a Google search to get answers to more specific questions.
