Hi all,
Been lurking around this forum for a couple of months. Just want to say that this forum is just great. Very informative.
Anyway i made my mind to buy a clevo (xxodd or rock or sager (no duty in my country if i order from us).
What do you guys suggest to wait till the M860 TU coems out since it will support the 9800m gtx or buy the D901c right now with sli?
I can wait a couple of moths i dont exactly need it right now but i admit it is hard to wait.
Hope to hear from you guys

Welcome to NBR xizzu !!!
What are you going to be doing with the notebook? How much battery do you need, will you being taking it anywhere? -
hey hkman,
no not much most probably i will take it occasionaly at my gf place a day a week thats all. Nope i dont ccare about battery life. I love games so much hehehe. -
they are whole different level.
mobility vs. horsepower. -
OK,
The 9262 is an 12 pound behomoth that using desktop quad core, and due to that it has horrid battery life.
The m860tu is 7 pounds and will have much better battery life, but does not have sli etc.
For me, I like to game on bigger screens, so I like 17inchers a lot. THat is why the m57ru was perfect, It was a powerful 17inch that was light for a notebook with the 8800m.
Regarding the 9800m, My guess it will just be a refresh of the 8800 with minimal performance benefits, just a shrunekn die, just like the 950m GS. SO, It does not matter wheter its the 9800m or the 8800m, the diff would not be too much -
imo the 9800 will not be that great.. even in desktop cards its not a whole lot better than the 8800 is.. it is simply a "refresh" of the same chipset...so unless your doing a sli setup with 9800's the sli 8800's will blow it away..not even a contest imo there..
as hkman said it depends what you want.. the 9262 is a AWESOME machine but its very heavy to carry and very large for a notebook.. not at all portable imo its more of a if i have to take it i can type notebook..
the 5793 is right in between them with the 8800. the 9800 will be a small bit better than the 8800 but not as much as people want to think imo.. i myself would LOVE the portability of the 15" with a high end gpu in it but knowing myself id go for the 9262.. -
The 9262 ROCKS!! I keep getting compliments and WHO-Be-JeSUS from people walking by. They all want to know who makes them (HP, Dell, etc), and I tell them that it's not from any of them. People just love my 9262, and I'm in love with it. Can it be? Can I be in love with a machine? http://video.scifi.com/player/?id=64712
Also, this is me with my 9262. HAHA!

Lol.
Yea, the 9262 is the fastest laptop on the planet.
The M570RU is the best 17 inch NON SLI gaming notebook out there.
The upcoming M860TU will be the best 15 incher with a 8800M GTX/9800M GTX card if it can surpass the 15inchers biggest issue : less space for heat dissipation.
If you`re all into performance, the 9262 is the only way to go. -
I liked the M57RU because I wanted an all around good notebook: mobile, powerful, 17", and I can still get at least 2 hours on battery if I'm doing work.
If you want pure power, get the 9262.
If you want great mobility, wait for the M860TU.
Really, though, all are (or will be) great notebooks, so you can't really go wrong!
New to the notebook world., asking for a piece of advice.
