I was looking for a smaller portable notebook and I was suggested the Sager NP7220 and to buy it from xoticpc.com

What are the kind of discounts that I can take advantage of from xoticpc.com? Coupons to use like the ones offered here for HP and Dell? I am a university student so I am looking forward to seeing how the discount is.

XoticPC has a student discount, and a cash discount if you pay via cash, check, wire transfer. That is about it. There are no coupons to use for either Sager, PNB, Xotic PC. Keep in mind Xotic PC is a reseller, and they don't charge high premiums for their systems so they can not afford to be to lenient with discounts and stuff like big MNC's like HP and Dell can.

    Your discount is...

    ...nada.

XoticPC sells computers at fair prices without retarded $7 gagillion-off coupons.

You might want to look in the Student Discount thread. I think when combined with the 'cash' discount you save a total of 5%.

that's not true, I think student discount is still 50% off shipping fee, + 3% cash discount.

Yes there is a small student discount. But the thing to remember here is that XoticPC and PowerNotebooks don't sell crap computers at inflated prices. The machines they sell are well built, the support they offer is top notch, and these guys are not making huge margins like the big name companies. The "special discount" you are after is the price they advertise all the time and give to every customer, every day.

I keep hearing differently. Maybe they keep changing it randomly to confuse me. Whatever. The difference accounts for maybe fifty bucks, depending on the price of your order and shipping.

nirvana, they recently just changed it.
student discount when applied with cash discount is 2%
which amounted to 25$s off for me as well...
edit: but now i think bout it... i dunno how a even 25$s discount came from... i thought it was 2% off but it doesn seem to add up right..
