    Hi!

So my old laptop screen has stopped working and I'm looking at getting a newer model.

I'm looking in the range of 850-950 or so and would like to be able to do some gaming on the system.

I really like the Clevo W150HRQ I found here.

My first question is what's the difference between the model above and the sager np5156 built on this model?[/s]

Also looking at the W150HRQ It looks like worthwhile upgrades would be to:
-Upgrade from the Intel Core i5-2410M to the i7-2630QM for $60?
    -Upgrade from a 320gb hd to a 500gb for $20?

Mainly I want a nice portable, sturdy laptop I can finish up school with and also play some newer games coming out. (Diablo 3 and Knights of the old republic online)

And help and or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hmm, well I guess reading really is tech. I found the answer to my first question in the faq. >.>

I guess I'm probably just going through what most newbies go through.... What the heck is clevo and am I safe picking one up?! Answer mostly seems to be yes.

So I guess my only question is... is there a better model I should be looking at for my pricing/wants?

Yea, thanks for the link. :)

I've pretty much decided that a clevo would fit me really well, I just need to narrow down the model now. The only problem I'm finding with the model I linked in the op is the GT555m and how it works with 1920x1080 resolution.

the 555 uses optimus technology so has switchable graphics.
1920x1080 screens are great with these sort of models. ordered 4 for my work so far from kobalt in the uk.
it gets a bit confusing for us in the uk as ameican model numbers vary from each company even though they are the same machines.
im guessing you should be able to get the same screens as us so the 3 options are xglass which is glossy and matte ntsc 60% or 95%
the matte screens are amazing and the reason my hospital has bought 4 so far.
hopefully someone from the usa will be able to advise on model numbers in the states.
