Sager vs Clevo. Ok is Sager just an up model Clevo or just the same? Is there really any difference in the units? Build quality? Components? Sager seems to be higher priced than clevo is the difference in the two justified?

Clevo is the manufacturer of the system and chassis. Sager then buys those systems and builds them at their facility to your specifications, which are then sold under the Sager name. Clevo builders will vary depending on your location but the two main ones in the US are Eurocom and Sager, both built off of Clevo parts. The units sold customized as Clevo branded units are done by a system builder instead of a Sager reseller.

So is there any difference in quality between the two? I mean they physical chasis are the same but internals? The Clevo's I have priced out comparably equiped (ie customized) seem to be cheaper?

Your mileage will vary depending on the builder you're going with. Resellers all have the same price for the most part but builders don't have the same costs involved necessarily. You'd want to do your research on the company and make sure they're reputable. There typically isn't much difference in price if at all from a reputable builder.
