I just contacted Nvidia support and asked them why the GTX 485m drivers aren't on their website. Anyways here is whats going on.

Me: When will you guys be posting the driver for this notebook GPU on the site?

Nvidia Customer Rep: Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care. Can you give me the brand/model of your laptop as well as the system information output so I can verify support? The GeForce GTX 485 is a new addition and support will generally come from the laptop manufacture until we can add the device to our reference drivers. There is generally a delay since we don't add the support to our reference drivers until after the product is released. Our next reference driver update is targeted for mid March, once I have the deviceID I can verify if support will be there and if not request the device to be added. Simply run "msinfo32.exe" at the Run command line and this will bring up the system information applet. Go to Components > Display and export the display section to a file. Upload the file to this case.

Me: Here is the file you requested. My laptop is a MALIBAL/Clevo P150HM

Nvidia Customer Rep: Thanks for the file. I've submitted a request for this device to be included in our next reference driver update. The next update is targeted for mid March, I'll let you know once the request has been approved and also notify you when a new driver is available to support this device.

Me: Sounds good, I will be waiting for an update from you. Thanks!

So yeah hopefully we will be included in the next official driver update, Yay!

Could this lead to a possible performance boost?

I would think so as usually with new driver releases from nvidia there is always a performance boost of some kind.

Maybe the p150hm would have a better chance of getting the update if more people went on to nvidia support and had the rep request for that model to be included..?

Why would the laptop model even matter?
Its the gpu model thats impt, if the 485m is supported in the next driver release then it should work for all 485m equipped nb's

Yep laptop model doesn't really matter, the only reason the rep asked for that is to see whether I am covered under support or not.
