Does anyone offer a next day onsite warranty for Clevo/Sager notebooks?

    Not that I know of.

Only Dell and Lenovo offer this service to my knowledge.

Maybe if you manage to buy a Clevo through Best Buy and purchase their extended warranty.

I don't think even best buy offers an in home warranty on their laptops, only on home theatre equipment.

Dell/Alienware would probably be the best way to go if that's the service you need to have.

Thanks for the input. I have a friend who is a Dell customer and he is adamant that he won't buy a notebook without this type of warranty.

Fast service doesn't always mean good service. I know of no on-site Clevo service technicians that offer that kind of convenience either (pretty sure there are none).

I think Dell's premium service is now 1-2 day. I have Dell's for business use and the couple times I have needed service
they were out the next day and it was great service.

As mentioned Alienware would give you that type of service.

My experience with my Sager has been about 4 weeks on average it has been kept to be worked on the two times I've had to send it in. It has been totally unacceptable and I hate it because of the stupid lead time needed to make the simplest of fixes.

I think the RMA time is going to depend on what needs to be done. Not sure what it is in your case, but if it doesn't involve much diagnostics, and just a swap of a part that doesn't need to be ordered, it could go pretty quick. I know I've seen a good amount that get turned around in good time.

The first was due to a faulty SSD and some pretty severe throttling and it took 3 weeks to get it back; this time around was the screen developed a series of lines on the right hand side and it took about 6 weeks to get back. If it was out of warranty I probably could have had both issues fixed within a random weekend; however, on a brand new computer I'm going to utilize the tech support. I don't have much experience utilizing tech support outside of Dell and HP for our business; however, both companies would have tech support out within a day or two or a new laptop sent out within a week. Perhaps that service has clouded my expectations but I just can't see being without my laptop for such long periods of time. Thankfully I have a backup but I do find it a tad troubling that I drop 2k on a laptop and need to have a backup for it.
