I'm running Vista Home Premium on my Sager NP2090 and when it's running on battery power it won't tell me my estimated time remaining. I realize such indicators are usually inaccurate, but it still would be nice to have.
Is this a common problem? If so can it be fixed?
Edit: I wish I could edit the title, it didn't come out like I wanted.

Does your 2090 show the correct status in Power Options under Control Panel when running on battery?
I had the exact same problem with my 2090 and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. -
The only way I found was to install NHC....after a few minutes running it tells you the estimated TIME left. NHC won't run on Vista64 though...
Good luck! -
Yeah, I'm running x64...Oh, well I'll give up for now. I hope NHC updates to 64 bit soon.

you can try RMclock for battery life info, although the estimated battery life isn't accurate for me (48mins left at 94% charge while NHC reports 1.5 hrs both aren't reliable).
-
I was not able to run RMClock on Vista64 either....

Best way is to determine battery life yourself. Try counting how much time it takes to use up 1% battery life. From there you can come up with estimated remaining time. It often isn't too far off from NHC.

I use XP, and RMclock or NHC won't give the estimates. Not even the power consumption. Is there any software I have forgot to install?
No battery life time remaining? NP2090
