Hello. I haven't been here in a while, I've been enjoying my P150EM 7970M for the last year and a half. I'm looking to upgrade to the SLI Haswell Clevo but I want the 120hz screen. At first glance, it seems, in my absence, that the screen has disappeared from Europe and is only available through Sager in the US.

Is there a retailer in Europe that still has the 120hz screen as an option?

    Thanks

To be honest it's not worth the investment at the moment, wait until next year.

    What's happening next year?

A year is a long time to wait and I'm sure next year there will be something else to wait for. So I might as well buy now. SLI 880M should be more than twice as fast as my 7970M.

I don't think I will bother with the 120hz screen, importing from the US will work out really expensive.

No after early next year the wait will be 2-3 years for the next jump most likely.

We offer the 120Hz panel in the U702 which uses the P570WM chassis (desktop platform) but it's not available in the P724 (Clevo P370SM-A) - however Sager's version uses the P377SM-A which is a slightly different design which it is available in.

The 120Hz panels and internal 3D capable models haven't been hugely popular in the wider market, what we've seen reflects this and it seems that most people prefer to run 3D on larger external monitors.

To be honest, the 120Hz panels are not in high demand in chassis which aren't internally 3D supportive - most people who do want to game or otherwise in 3D tend to use a larger external monitor.

When can we expect the new models to be coming out?

You would need cables too and clevo models can ship without the 120hz cable connector soldered on if you get the 60 he model.
