Yesterday someone spilled 7up on my NP8662, around the touchpad and keyboard area (not much though). I shut it down and tried to clean it the best I could, and I let it dry upside down. Today the laptop seems to work fine, the keyboard and touchpad are ok.. but I don't get any sound, either from speakers or with headphones on.
The function keys work, I can see the sound on and at max in windows. So my first guess would be the sound card is fried or something.

So what do you guys suggest? I'd like to clean the keyboard thoroughly, but I don't really know how, or if it is possible to only take the keyboard out?

And as for the sound, does anyone know if it's a big deal?

EDIT: I guess the sound card is soldered on the motherboard, so that would mean I'd need to get a replacement motherboard..?

Taking the keyboard out is very easy (see service manual in my sig) and yes the sound card is integrated on the motherboard, but I'd suggest getting an external one as it'd be cheaper and give better quality sound (either an expresscard slot one or usb)
