When I first got my NP8170 with Blu-Ray it came with PowerDVD Ultra 8. I had an upgrade option to PowerDVD 10 Ultra for $39.95. Now that PowerDVD 11 was released, there IS no upgrade option. You have to pay the full $99.95 price! Sager, can you help with this in any way shape or form?

    Just ridiculous.

    That's Cyberlink's policy.

Has nothing to do with Clevo/Sager.

I'm curious. Are there significant differences, between 8, 10, and 11, which make you want to upgrade?

This will be my first PC Blu-ray player, so I am a bit clueless when it comes to the software side of things.
