    Hey guys!
I'm going absolutely mental with this, ripping bundles and bundles of hair off.
I just got my new W355SSQ with an Intel Centrino Wireless-n 135 card, did a fresh install of Windows 8.1, installed all drivers and bam, nothing. Wireless can't find any networks. The install on 8.1 was kind of fishy (couldnt get the Intel ProSet thingy to appear etc). I tried messing around adapter settings, channels, modes etc, nothing worked. Some people online suggested right clicking Intel Proset icon and setting "Let Windows manage the connections" helped, but as I said, I didnt even have an Intel Proset icon. Nope I wasnt in airplane mode hah

As it seems Win 8.1 has issues with some drivers (as expected), so I thought good old Win7 would solve everything. Did a clean install and same thing happens. I managed to get Intel ProSet working, but it doesnt help in any way. Device manager says the device is working correctly but I can't find ANY networks at all, so it isnt a router problem..

So, any suggestions? Thank you in advance

Yeah I had tried that before, thank you for the suggestion though.
Talking to my resellers they just assumed it as a faulty card and will replace it

You could open the back and check the aerials are connected.

The good news is if the card refuses to play ball an upgrade is very cheap and easy.

Is the device found? The local vendor (cjscope) here actually put the wrong driver, and I suspect it's probably wrong on Clevo's website too. Get the latest one from Intel.com directly.

Hey all, I went to my reseller today and the problem was solved in 10min, it really was a faulty Wireless-N 135, the odds were low but it happened. Problem solved.
Thank you all for the suggestions

That's not great that it failed, but it's good to hear you're being taken care of and you're not losing any more hair over it. :)
