    Noobie question about 901c and Raid

    ok forgive my stupidness.

    i know quite a bit about Pc's and notebooks but not enough to answer this since i never dealt with it before.

    Raid 0

    ok thinking about ordering a 901c once the 8800m come out.

    dont know if i need more then one hdd right now but i like the thought of adding one later.

    can i make the new hdd i add later a raid 0 to the PC or am i stukc making it a raid 1?

    also why at it. if i get just one 8800 when i buy can i add the other later?
    wont do that i think because it would be cheaper to buy both 8800 together..

    Welcome to the forum :) Yes you can enable the Raid later on when you decide the add a 2nd or 3rd HDD. You can also purchase another 8800GTX at a later time and install it yourself and enable SLi.

    Just an FYI...

    You will have to reinstall if you want to go to the other RAID type.
