    Normal temps on 7970m?

    Hi all,

    My NP9150 arrived recently. I haven't had much of a chance to test it, but after 5 minutes of Battlefield 3 on ultra settings, my GPU temps are already peaking at 98 degrees C. Are these temps normal? I purchased the laptop with the IC-diamond upgrade, but I'm suspecting a botched paste-job :(.

    That is not normal. Mid 70s to low 80s are what I've seen out of most, even in demanding games.

    I get High 70s low 80s in games, however in benches I break 90.

    Everything is stable and the fan kicks in good and hard at 93 for me so I am not stressing it.

    Looks like I'll have to do a re-paste (Wasted 30$ on upgrade)!!

    Is there a guide for repasting the 9150 floating around?
