I am torn between selling my Sager 5792 and gettin a NP8690
    (Cost ~600 after 5792 sale)

Or keeping my 5792 and getting a HP Mini 311....

Basically I want some portibility and the 5792 is just to bulky now.... I cant sit in bed with it, and I can't lug it to class... the NP8690 would be good, but costs like $200 more than the netbook (if i sold my 5792).

Or I could keep the 5792 as a desktop replacement and use the mini 311 (~400) as my mobile device and it seems it can do basic gaming too (I think it can handle EVE, L4D, Total wars)

I want some advice from you guys/gals though.

    Thanks!

I would say go for the 8690, but if battery life is a concern, the 311 is by far the better choice for sustained mobility. The 8690 probably won't make it through a full day of classes, and will be louder (fan noise) and thus more bothersome to fellow students.

Try to trade it in for your new one. Maybe also take a look at the M11x.

Garandhero. You're really going to miss gaming if you step down from a top shelf GPU. I'd say just keep your M570RU as a desktop and purchase the netbook as your portable. Like said above, your notebook isn't going to sell at $1,000. If you plan to get any buyers for that notebook, you would need to lower the price down to $700-800. If you do go with the W860CU, expect to keep it plugged in for the majority of time you are in class or purchase a second battery. The W860CU battery will not last more than an hour.
