My searches seem to be coming up empty handed, can someone recommend a good laptop case/sleeve that has carrying handles for the clevo p151hm1? Looking at the dimensions:

    14.80" (w) x 10.08" (d) x 1.38" ~ 1.69" (h)

it seems like it is in between standard cases like a 15.6" and 16-17". bhphotovideo.com is a great place that has internal dimensions, but all the cases seem too big or too small and I want a goldilocks one. Also, why the range on the height measurement?

I imagine there is some leeway if a case is too small, but I'm not experienced with cases at all and don't know what the margin of error is. For example, if the inner dimensions call for a 14.5" laptop is that .3" difference a game over, or can the padding be compressed w/o too much issue?

The Tamrac 1707 seems to fit the bill with interior dimensions of:

    15 3/4 x 1 5/8 x 11 1/2" (40 x 4.13 x 29.21cm) (WxDxH)

but I'm not sure if all that extra room will cause it to "slosh" around or not. If anyone has the perfect case with handles, please reply!

    thanks!

18" x 13" x 2" interior seems roomy, do you use it with a sleeve as well? How much does it weigh?

    I've been looking at:
    The Tucano Work Out
    and
The Acme Made Slick Laptop Sleeve

I really wish the Naneu Mt-15 was just a bit bigger... Also a fan of kata bags for photo gear, wonder how their laptop cases stack up.

i'm a long time slappa (cd/dvd cases) and pelican (film/video cases) fan, and i dig that mythlogic is selling slappa sleeves w/ their sager/clevo laptops. But lLooking at the battery life on the np8130/p151hm1, I think a case/sleeve absolutely has to have space to stow the power adapter if you want to just carry a single case/sleeve and not slip it into some other larger enclosure.

Seems like once you go over a certain size you start to lose features (like handles) or gain too much weight with messenger bags and backpacks and oodles of pocket storage space. This p151hm1 seems just too big for the 15.6" sleeves with handles and a pocket, and a bit small for the 17" ones. 16" might do the trick, but that doesn't seem to have a lot of options... oh well, thanks for the recommendations everyone, i think i've actually spent more time looking for a compatible case than choosing the laptop, hehe.

your best bet may be to wait till you get your hands on it, then take it with you to best buy, target, frys, microcenter, or whatever you have locally

yeah, you are right, but i'm leaving very shortly for europe after the laptop arrives (actually, i hope the laptop arrives in time, fingers crossed!), so I'm trying to save some time! Seems like the macbook pros really have it made for cases/sleeves with only 3 models, there are a ton of cases that just fit perfectly for those guys, but wow are they expensive!
