I tried to get NHC on my Sager NP9262, but it keeps getting an error. I think it is because I have a 64-bit operating system but not sure.
ERROR!-> Could not load the NHC driver!
I think it is trying to load a 32-bit driver on a 64-bit system. Any help would be appreciated. I want to disable any power saving settings when my device is plugged in.

NHC doesn't support 64-bit OSes. Their driver probably doesn't have any digital signature. You might wanna try an alternate program.
-
Do you know of any alternate programs I could use?
-
RMclock might be what you are looking for.
-
Same problem. They both use unsigned drivers. I have Windows 7 and need to bypass the signed drivers restriction. ANybody have an Idea.

use CPUGenie..yea...its not free...but RMclock and NHC has been discontinued..got no choice , invest a bit money for longer life CPU
-
CPUGenie does seem promising. Thanks for the info. I wonder if anyone has run it on a Sager NP9262. If it can cut down on power consumption, that would be great when on battery power.

Here's a guide to undervolting with RMclock, and the signed driver is attached to the first post (at the bottom of the first post). You just replace it.

Well, I dont want to underclock. I want to make sure the voltages stay the same when on AC power.
-
works like charm...
so does your NP9262 will -
I use RMclock to lower voltages while keeping same clocks.
I have same voltages on ac power or battery controlled by it. Underclock is just an option of rmclock, you don't have to do it.
