Has anybody programed the ACPI Control System for 9260? Over on Notebook Hardware Control, Manfred explains that you should be able to control fan speeds and get temps for hardrives and other goodies.

    1) you do not need to control fan speeds in that notebook, its pretty automated and you have the Fan Toggle (Fn+1) to switch all fans to max speed or auto speed.

    2) Notebook Hardware Control has issues with notebooks that use desktop CPUs. I actually use an older version of NHC that actually detects the temps.

... or you can use SpeedFan.

Well I am not that interested in controlling the fans, b/c of the (fn+1). I am however interested in the hard drive temps and even mem temps.
