My idle temperature on CPUID monitor was around 35 to 36 C for GPU and around the same for CPU as well. Now the temperature is 49 C for GPU and CPU is around 51 to 54 C.

Well I play most games, my GPU temperature reach up to 90+ C and I'm really worry right now. I don't know what wrong? Before I could play Crisis 2 on close to max and it would only reach 84 C. Most games even on max don't even reach 80 C.

Has this ever happen to you guys, any suggestion?

Im not very familiar with your laptop but will be getting a np9150 soon ^^

For my alienware laptop I had it go to max temps and safety shut off cause it got too hot. I fixed this by not Overclocking it so hard.

Also I would recommend getting a fan if you dont have already. It also might be time to repaste the GPU and CPU and give it a good dusting?

    Hope this helps

I thought about that, but is it OK to open the notebook up especially the fan area? I never had to do that on my PC cause my PC was always cold with like 3 large fans.

Did the temperatures just change over night or was it over a few months that you saw the change.
First thing to always do is open up the bottom of the computer and clean all the vents and fans and basically any other dust in there. Also make sure you're using it on a flat surface so the intake fans on the bottom can pull in air as it needs.

i suggest opening the bottom cover, removing any built up dust, then doing the foil tape mod. there is a link in my sig bud.

Haven't seen you in a while bud. You seem to know a lot about computer and I'm far from tech savvy. Probably the only accomplishment I never did that was noteworthy was building my own gaming pc without help.

So if hot air is blowing out what I'm guessing to be my GPU side (right side up) (left side when looking at the bottom of the notebook) could it just be dust? Do dust build up sooner or later? Is my notebook going to be ok? I take good care of it. I always have it on a notebook cooler mainly because the little stand on the notebook broke on mine so the notebook wasn't elevated.

It will be fine once you clean it out. Looking over your specs it's due for one if you never have before. Make a habit of cleaning it at leave every 6 months, 3 months if you can.

it should be ok, just unscrew the back cover and when you have it flipped over unscrew both of the fans, cpu and gpu, and remove any dust, you can use an air can or just blow with your mouth. you can take the fan covers off too and get any built up dust off the fans aswell. its usually best to clean the dust out at minimum every two months if you want to keep low temps.

btw when was the last time you cleaned it out?

I have never clean it out before, not since I bought it.

Does overheating cause damage to the internal of the notebook? That my #1 concern so I haven't been playing any games other than testing for a while.
