Hello everyone,
My name is Cristian, and I am from Romania.
I really need your advice related to buying a notebook from notebookguru.de
On Thursday (09.Feb.2011) I have received the Proforma (Invoice) and I payed money by bank transfer.
On Monday (14.Feb.2011) I send the guy from notebookguru.de an email to ask him about the money and how to track my package and he says that he didn't received the payment.
After this email I have sent him some other emails but he does not answer anymore.
Can someone tell me something, give me an advice?
Thank you.

I would just give it some time. Bank wires can take 2-5 business days and your payment did overlap the weekend, most banks do not operate during the weekend so it might seem like a long time but even today it only seems to be 4 business days.

Hm, this is worrisome. I ordered a laptop about a month ago from them, it took about, err, 3 weekdays to go over, but my bank warned me that the payment could be held up at Deutsche bank for 7 weekdays.
Since by now it has been a week.. Hmwell, wait until Friday, I'd say, and if nothing, then start inquiring in your bank about what happened to the transfer, and where has there been a failure.
I guess they do not have a presence here? -
NotebookGuru is known for long delays and lack of communication at times. It's a one man shop, so whenever he doesn't have the time or is away there is no response from him.

Your payment needs some 3 working days in order to clear. You could ask your bank about the status of the payment.
In any case, since it is an online purchase inside EU, you are protected in the first 2-4 weeks of the transaction for any reason, read the relevant terms of the transaction or the German Commercial Code.
In the worst case, it means that you may cancel the transaction or return the purchase during that period, but of course any legal course would be unpleasant.
