I just ordered a Sager NP9170 (Clevo P170EM) and am wanting to use the Notepad U3 from coolermaster. Theoretically it should fit since the the cooler fits a 15"-19" screen size and a 19" horizontal width. The clevo's specs are 16.22" (w) x 10.87" (d).

Has anyone used this cooler on a Clevo P170EM? Would you recommend this? I am thinking of getting a total of 6 fans

Wow. No personal experience with it, but I trust CoolerMaster as a brand, and that looks like one heck of a chill pad.

I have the np9170 and the u3. The base is awesome, nice incline level (not adjustable) and metal grate.
Fans are ok, but they will make noise. Also rather bulky. If you remove the metal safety grate, it helps to alleviate those two issues.

Yeah, the U3 fits perfectly on the 9170. Fans are a bit noisy, as was mentioned before. Mine also came with a wire issue in the control box that made it so the fans didn't even work. I'm tech savvy though and fixed it myself. Outside of that one little issue and the noise it is a perfect cooler. I never thought about taking the metal grates off though, I'll look into doing that.
