If he's not OC'ing the T9900 stock 14K sounds about right. What ever happened to the OP? Wondering if the rig is OK now.

It's low Mandrake. My X9100 (also 3.06) and my 3870's all stock get 14,000. With 280's he should be getting more.

use avira. avast will slow down your computer no matter how fast it is.

    although it protects more.

avast slows down the internet and seaching files because it doesn't load them up until avast checks them. it's good be sometime annoying. click something and then you'll see the a in the corner spinning around and when it stops, you'll notice the webpage will show.

I'll look. How does this compare (USB slots upside down and Euro key) to yours?:

Core Duo T9600 (will upgrade later when prices drop)
    4 GB RAM
    2x 320 GB 7200rpm (W/GForce)
    2x SLI GTX 280
    DVD Multi Burner
Windows Vista Home Premium with upgrade to Windows 7.

    Build Quality

Very nice! Yes, it's a finger print magnet, but I like it over Alienware's M17x as it looks and feels expensive. Mine has Celtic on the back lid, which I like.

    Keyboard

It's absolutely fine and the location of the hotkeys doesn't get in the way. The mouse pad isn't the greatest as your finger has a tendency to stick to hit. However, it really doesn't matter because I prefer a mouse.

    Noise

Overall pretty quiet and a bit louder than my ASUS, but the HDDs in the ASUS are only 5400 Rpm, so this is to be expected.

    Screen

Nice and bright and colours are vibrant. Yes, the screen is glossy, but I've adjusted to this because my ASUS also has a glossy screen and quite frankly I prefer this over a matt finish. It also seems very ridged with minimal, if any, flexing.

    Sound

Disappointed here a bit I must admit. Realtek sound card just like the ASUS and I find it rather quite. Some have reported the volume as being above average, but it seems quiet when watching movies.

    USB Ports

These are installed upside down from other laptops, which I found odd.

    Performance

Haven’t had time to test this yet.

What I find odd is that Eurocom shipped a European cord with the laptop vice a North American one, but they have just shipped me a replacement one. This also happened to Nexuscom on this site. In addition to this, I have the sign for the Euro next to the dollar sign on the keyboard. So this came from overseas for sure, so I’m scratching my head on this one.

Overall, I really like it! Better not be preproduction.

Preproduction should have english keyboard, not with that Euro. And Eurocom sometimes gets their products from other sources like europe.

    I live/bought mine in/from Euro(Ger). ^^

USB ports on the left side? They are not upside down on mine.

Upgraded to QX9300 ES (Core 2 Duo Prozessor P8700)
    4GB RAM
    1x 320GB 7200
    1x 400GB 5400
    SLI GTX 280m
    DVD Multi Burner
Win7 RC 7100 (newer version didnt want to work when I tried to install)

    Built Quality
    Nice.

    Keyboard
Gives kind of in.. especially the part which separates Keyboard from Hotkeys is pretty bad made. Can provide a pic later, maybe.

    Noise
    Okay?!

    Screen
    Decent!

    Sound
I use headphones, all fine. Have to agree the "boxes" are a bit quiet.

    Performance
    So far all good.

I am a bit disappointed about the reseller. When I upgraded to a better CPU I noticed the fan of the CPU had no screws in (was lose).
    On both GPUs no heatsink-paste...

Overall, I like it. My first Notebook.
and sorry for the bad review, haha.

My USB ports are fine. Man I was attacked so much I'm a basket case.

Any way flex on the keyboard is very minimal unless you force down really hard on it.

That's true, but with the free version of Vantage, you can only run it once.

Futuremark says you can run it as much as you want but all runs after the first won't display a score. Hmm, isn't the score the whole point of running it?

Yeah you get one shot at running it and thats it .

I got the basic version just because i used it so much but i can understand people not wanting to pay for benchmarking software as theres tons of other apps/demos out there that are free .

So I was running that 3dmark thing.. and my screen started showing those blue bars flashing all over the montior (cant explain it better..). Is that normal? I remember henrybutt having the same problem but I didnt find anything which helped.
Do I have to call the reseller and tell them that they blow for installing a bad gpu? =(

Also the 186.03 driver is weird. When I press the rightmousebutton on the desktop it takes around 5 secs to open the menu. If I then press the nvidia systemmanager it takes another 5sec to open that.

When I used the 179.79 version it instantly opened the menu.. and the systemmanager. Whats wrong ??

    Edit
I was searching for a solution for this flickering in google and I found a thread which someone suggested to take of the "gpu-bridge" (I hope that is the right word...). Another guy in the same thread wrote that he used 2 bridges and it stopped flickering. Now Im confused.. :D
