Hi,looking at buying a 9262 in the uk,was going to go with Kobalt cause they seem like a nice friendly bunch, but have now found the Novatech one and it seems much better value. For about the same price it has 2.66 quad core opposed to 3.0 duo,3 hard drives opposed to one, blue ray reader,4 gigs opposed to 2,free case and shipping,so seems a lot better value ,on the down side it has the 1650x1050 screen and not the 1920x1200,any advise or opinions please as it is a big outlay for me ,thanks,Rigs![]()

if i was you i would go with the Kobalt option, these guys build your laptop to a very high standard and the best thing would be that they offer fantastic service and are very keen to help out whatever the issue. I would spend the extra just for this. Kobalt will also spec out a system to how YOU want it, Novatech make lots of 1 laptop ie the 901c to a certain spec then ship them with that spec, thats why price is low. They make lots of laptops in one hit with the same spec.

I bought from Kobalt a month or so ago and was very impressed with their service. I would recommend you go with them.

Good to hear this, i am about to order the Mojave from them. Would you guys recommend to take the dead pixel policy?
Also, there is significant price difference between T9600 (£205) vs P9500 (£109). I am inclined to go with P9500 as it is the newer processor which is more energy efficient right? Would you agree that the additional 0.3 ghz is not really worth £100?
If i get these points cleared up, I'll most probably order this weekend! =)
Oh, and forgot to ask, does anybody know what the laser etching looks like? Is it nice/worth it??
And lastly, what is the Intel Turbo Memory upgrade available? Anything useful?
Thanks! -
I'm going to order my Mojave from Kobalt today -

Just a quick answer on our laser etching - there are some examples on our forum and the skull image in the configuration page is a full cover etch from a customers Mojave XI (older M571RU). We have 2 options, the cheaper are clip art type options of which we have literally 1000s of images and can scale up of down whilst keeping the same etch quality. Because we have so many images it's taking a while to get a pop up done with a sensible number of options!!! The more expensive option is customer supplied artwork which we have to edit in order to get a good etch but this can be anything from a digital photograph to cgi artwork.

Awesome, thanks a lot for the info Tankbuster! With that said I think the Mojave will get ordered this weekend...now just thinking of a design I could get etched on, cos the idea does seem quite appealing!
Thanks!
