Not the best way to ventilate a notebook ;)

They gotta add a 'Caution: Flammable' warning to the bottom as well :p

I think it's very ugly, computers are just not meant to be made out of wood.

I'm sure the fire scenario has been explored, they probably treated the frame with a flame retardant covering or something. I wonder if it expands when it gets warmer??

I'm not sure about the coating..but it'd be cool to have in case your plane crashed or something..fresh kindling for a bonfire right inside your carry on bag!

(Leave it to me to think of such things..I'm an Aviation major  )

Weird, but I didn't think I would find it nice... Looking at it it looks quite damn nice though...

Look to me that these are not made of wood, but just some wooden applique sticked to the cover and keyboard.

It's probably just a nice looking laminate. Guitar makers do it all the time :p

Plane crash! I would think making a fire would be the last thing on your mind, considering you'd either be smashed to pieces or burned to a crisp. If you made a water landing, maybe it could be used as a flotation device. :D

Now that would be funny... sort of.. other then if you live in a humid location your chassis will "melt" and/or grow mold! :D
