    Hi guys
    I've got a np2090 and I want to upgrade my ram soon but was not sure what type I should buy, i'm good with desktop ram but a complete noob with laptop ram.
    Could you just tell me what I should be looking for.
    Also I cant rememer if I have 2x512 or 1x1gb of Ram so is there anyway i can find out? apart from opening it up.

    Look for DRR2-667 PC2-5300/5400 So-DIMM. Look at the ram deals thread.

    CPU-Z will also tell you how much ram you have in each slot(look under the SPD tab).

    Also, the ram is located under your laptop so opening it up is easy. Turn the laptop over while its off(make sure you take out the battery out) and look for the RAM cover lid which has two screws.
