i was using the newest nvidia driver. I would turn on my computer and it would flash a few times and say that it has crashed and restarted. then it would go to a blue screen. I just uninstalled my driver in safe mode. Which driver should idownload now? i have the 560m btw

try the one that came with your laptop or contact your reseller to give you a link of the original drivers.

just to isolate that it indeed is a driver issue and not a hardware issue

Which driver specifically were you running, the newest Beta or WHQL? The latest stable driver is 285.62 here:

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 285.62 WHQL

Also, I'd try running driver sweeper to be sure you don't have any crud leftover that's making problems.
