    Trying to test my new machine. I am on my third time downloading. It's time I removed origin, bf3 punkbuster and cleaned the registry. The first two times I downloaded the game and launch the game and join a server the bf3 icon loads in the taskbar for about 5 seconds then it just goes away. The game never loads. I am downloading now, it'll take all night.

    Anyone ever had this issue?

    No, maybe try running it in admin mode? btw how do you feel about the subwoofer on your machine and the max volume it goes to?

    I too would suggest changing compatibility settings to run as admin for origin, BF3 never ran for me unless I had that set.

    I think the developers have experienced some issues with recent patches/updates as well, so if you run into more trouble, check out the BF3 forums and see if a workaround exists, or if there is a patch available (or soon to be released).
