Just wondering about the graphics card driver on Sager's website for the 5760. I have a 5720, but since they are both m570u computers i would assume they are compatable.
Anyway, my question is directed toward those people Runing Vista on their m570u latops, whether it be 5720 or 5760, and have downloaded and used this driver.
Does this driver produce more stable 3d gameplay than the default driver that shipped with Vista? The download time from Sager's website was somewhat rediculous, and I dont feel like putting that much time into something that isnt going to help my gaming performance.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, if you are looking for gaming performance I wouldn't use the Sager or the Microsoft drivers. Your best bet is to install a modded .inf and use driver from laptopvideo2go.com or the equivalent.

forget vista, I tested my gaming with Vista Ultimate, i posted my experience here:
Vista Gaming Performance
The nVidia drivers are not fully optimized for Vista, I took a significant hit in gaming performance while testing it.
So I am now back to XP Pro, I feel much better. I am going to wait for Vista to get more mature and nVidia support to get better.

yah, thats what ive been told by everyone so far, which is fine, doesnt hurt to try u know?
I may end up partitioning my HDD to duel boot xp for the time being, unless nvidia gets a decent driver out soon. Ive grown fond of vista, minus that one flaw, and cant really see myself taking it off my PC now that Ive broken it in.
