    These do not seem to install on the x7200-NP7280 with SLI 480M's. I have tried manually in different ways and still no go... :(

    Check "best dirver for FX 3700m thread" right here in this section or the official discussion over Graphics Gaming etc. section.
    Temperatures dropped like 7°C which is awesome, and min fps-avg fps raised quite a bit (as well my 3dmark06 score).

    Since Clevo is the only one that has the 480M, they are taking their time I suppose...in a short time they will catch up... :rolleyes:

    They're not installing on many laptops with the gtx 460m, including the Sager 8760 and all the Asus G73JW. People who got them to install on other laptops are reporting many lockups in in games.

    thanks for that info.

    looking at the release notes theres no mention of the 460 or sli in 480 only the single 480.
    has anyone managed to load and run these with a single 480 yet.

    i'm actually a bit skeptical. i was waitin for someone with a single 480m to test it out before i installed them as well. i might try them, and test them out for u guys if nobody with a single 480m decides to before me. i'll have to download quite a few things tho.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 1420.
    GPU: GeForce 8400M GS
    Bios revision: A10

    Installation complete ok, but after last reboot and login, an error sound is heard and sistem freezes in initialization screen.

    Any ideas?

    Performed a clean install and it works on my D900F [480M]. I played Medal Of Honor 2010 last night for a couple of hours and didnt notice anything wrong, except for the bugs on the game.

    No offense but we've been down this road before the last time nvidia said they would be offering driver updates for laptops.
    There's still no reason to pick these over laptop video2go yet.

    i spoke too soon.
    turning on today did start in lowest screen setting of 600x800 which i havnt had on the last couple of drivers but it rectified itself back to 1680x1050 once it had fully booted up. only problem is it moves all the ruddy desktop shortcuts.
    hope its a one off but im not holding my breath.
    all temperatures have been lowered by roughly 4-5c so thats a good thing.

    here we go.... 3dmark06 wont run due to idirect3ddevice9lost. this is due to the changing of the resolution. found THIS
    thread on nbr about it. strange its the first time its affected 3dmark06 as previous nvidia drivers used to change my res on bootup on a regular basis.
    vantage is giving a lower score so thats not good. previous p5052 and now p4975

    edit. 3dmark06 was 9511 and now 9535
