We D901C users do not use the chipset that makes DPC issues unbearable (since we use a hybrid desktop mobo), but we do suffer from it. A high DPC latency causes audio stuttering, popping, and cracking. Other symptoms include random blue screens of death. Lots of the 19x.xx drivers are plagued with high DPC latency if you want to try it out.

Thanks for heads up on these. Got 'em downloaded but I'm gonna wait a few days before installing. I really like this 257.21 driver set at the moment.

Core parking was also responsible for similar issues though.

Hi LaptopNut, what's this core parking thing? Can you provide some links? I'm still having damn DPC issues with the most recent Nvidia drivers.

    See this thread

I have heard some people claim that due to Core parking, they experienced stuttering and others think it could cause audio popping although I have my doubts.

Just got these up and running. Idle temps are lower by about 3C-5C from 257.21. About to fire up Dragon Age and see how that goes.
