does this mean that systems with optimus will lose physx support if this set of drivers is installed?

I dont know, that would kinda suck though... luckily I dont play any games with pysx

I'll test them and report how well they work since the only driver that gives me accebtable performance is the 306.97 whql, all the other ones deliver sub 60 fps

well for some reason no nvidia driver above 306.97 is really working for me, performance has been terrible. Anyone else have this problem?

we did have 5 beta drivers in a row for the new main games out before crimbo so i stuck with 310.54 which worked good for me and the first driver ive found that stopped B3 crashes. ran blops 2 and far cry 3 perfectly.
i will be loading above within next hour as busy at to. done a restore point just in case :)

did your vantage/11/06 scores change much?

the 310.70 drivers made my games really unstable, but they did in fact, increase performance.

I'll try the 310.90 drivers and hope for stability increases.

    just running mine now.
had to delete physx and load an older version as vantage kept stopping at crash and burn.

Weird, vantage got through 3 times without a single crash on mine, using the 09.12.1031 that came with 310.90 though. And no change in score at stock clock: http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/4503148

it sure is a weird one. its done it ever since ive had the lappy. i had to go on the futuremark forum at first as no idea what it could be. they advised to load 9.12.0613 and it runs fine every time but as soon as i update drivers i have to manually delete latest phsx and download this older one.
    its only vantage it affects.

anyways vantage and mark06 have gone down about 15 points and mark11 down 1 point.

    now to try the games

Anyone get stutter with vsync on in BF3? Been sticking with 302.92 as it is very smooth with vsync on and even with it off, much less choppy and tearing than 306.xx and 310.xx drivers.

yeah I'm getting a weird stutter aswell, funny though I'm around 70 frames when it happens. try disable vsync, maybe itll help you. anyway 3dmark 11 scores went down by 200 points also I get a little less frames,

    back to 306.97 it is

That's good to hear, I never had any freezing issues, guess i'm lucky. Funnily enough my stock 3d mark scores were still the same, only when over clocking they went down
