    im actually surprised none of the usual suspects has shown off with some benchmarks of their through "special connections" obtained 980M/970M pre-samples :p :D

    Probably bug fix for 980 and 970 in SLI more than anything else. If you poke around the desktop forums there's reports of variable voltage and boost clocks across cards when in SLI. Hopefullly this driver addresses that.

    Tried these out on computer we have in stock with GTX 980M on 3DMark Firestrike

    Stock Drivers 344.00
    Score: 8279 - GPU: 9712 - Physics: 8244 - Combined: 3659

    Updated 344.24
    Score: 8275- GPU: 9654- Physics: 9251- Combined: 3713

    So a nice bump up in Physics score. It may be just the mentioned games quoted in the original post.

    Will mess with it a little more tomorrow and see what we can do.

    Ok, so we're talking 20-30% improvement (overall) and not the 50-70% that they kept rumor milling about.

    Still with the power reduction and the thermal decrease, it's going to be a nice card.
