Hello everyone,
I'm kind of desperated, i bought a clevo P775DM3-G with
CPU intel 6700K
GPU GTX1080
and i'm frequently having Nvlddmkm errors.
I've set the tdrdelay in regedit , have the last nvidia driver, updated the bios etc ... but still having this trouble ...
Does anyone have a solution please ?
Regards.

I have the same error with the latest nvidia driver and Windows 10 Creators update. Just wait until a new driver update.

If you don't wait to wait, just rollback to the previous nvidia driver version which had no problems.

The hotfix worked fine for a few reboots and now I have the same issue again. It looks like the problem is less recurring but not completely solved.
Unfortunately a rollback to the previous driver also doesn't seem to solve this. It looks like a compatibility issue between the NVidia drivers and the Windows 10 Creators Update.

For information :
I've done all update and it didnt work until i touch the CCC ...
On some games (NBA 2k17) i have to put the cache ratio of the cpu to 42 and some other (like mass effect andromeda ) to 40
I still have some crash but they are few now... -
I also have set the TDRdelay to 16 and tdrlevel to 3
-
I uninstalled the latest drivers with DDU and installed the previous version 378.92, everything works fine now. No black screens, no graphics corruption, no crashes.

Looks like there is a heavy early adopters tax with this update

I'm Still getting this error. I have done all the recommended changes to setting and there was over/under clocking done to the card and it still give me a black screen after playing for 10 mins (any game). Did a full system reset (reinstalled windows) and still "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." but it doesn't recover it stays black.
Geez. -

On the GeForce forums there are a number of people with the same issues as myself.Last edited: May 1, 2017 -
Also, here's a link to the GeForce forum discussion about the same issue. Perhaps you can try some of the solutions posted here and see if any of it helps you.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/...ild-1607-randomly-black-screens-nvlddmkm-/53/
If none of this solves your issue, I would recommend rolling back to the last known driver version that worked for you and wait for another update from NVidia. -
Been on that forum and tried all of it. -
New Geforce drivers - https://forums.geforce.com/default/...play-driver-feedback-thread-released-5-4-17-/
New Windows 10 Update - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4016240/windows-10-update-kb4016240
Hopefully updating both fixes your problem. Give it a try. -

Try to set "Power Management Mode" to "Adaptive" or "Prefer Maximum Performance" in Nvidia Control Panel (under "Manage 3D Settings"). The default "Optimal Power" setting tends to be unstable with various cards, especially on Windows 10 version 1703 (aka "Creator's Update").
Also, if you're using Riva Tuner Statistics Server (aka RTSS, also utilized by tools like Riva Tuner, MSI Afterburner, etc.), update RTSS to v.7.0.0 beta 19 or later, as previous versions aren't compatible with Windows 10 1703 due to some changes to Direct3D in that version of Windows.
If you're using any other software that hooks into Direct3D (note that this might also include injectors like SweetFX, ReShade, ENB, etc., although I don't use those so I can't say for certain), update that to the latest version as well (or try to disable it to see if it helps).Last edited: May 16, 2017Rynaus likes this. -
I have the same problem! The gpu dies when make a hard work!
I use the clevo factory gpu overclocker software and I returned 60mhz the core clock.
Because the gpu z see 1850mhz in turbo boost not 1771hmz! -
Sigh. Still not able to tax the GPU

Got a new error with it
The following information was included with the event:
The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

BSODs are such a pain.
As a last resort, have you considered a format + reload? (Or have you already tried a fresh install of the OS?) -
I've done 2 and got a bios update and tried 5 different drivers. And have all the recommended troubleshooting setting for the NV control panel.
All this because of the creators update.
