    1. I cannot figure out how to get the blue tooth to stay powered on after a restart.

    2. How do I get the Wireless LAN to go to the N protocol? I am only connected at G rate.

    3. I read somewhere before to make sure that the GPU or memory or CPU. Three clock speed were given xxx/xxx/xxx like that. What is that for? How do I see if it is set correctly?

    Thanks

    2. Read your router's manual on configuring it in N mode. Then on the notebook itself, go to Device Manager under Control Panel-->System and Maintenance, look for your wireless network card under Network, right click it and select properties; then under Advanced Settings tab look for the option to set the card to wireless N mode only.

    1. Don't turn off the computer, use sleep or hibernation. As for a real fix, haven't found one yet. Just have to hit the FN+(wireless key) once booted up to turn it back on.

    2. This should be done automatically. My lappy connects to my D-Link Xtreme N Gaming Router at about 150meg, 300meg when in the same room. This was done using the standard Vista wireless connection wizard. I would have to say check the configuration of your router and see if N-draft could be dissabled as well as any other setting that may be holding it back. Also, make sure you are connected to the right router. My neighbor has an unsecured G network and every now and then, my lappy likes to connect to it even though I have done everything to make sure it should not automatically connect to it.

    3. You should not have to worry about clock speeds on your CPU or GPU unless you have flashed your GPU vbios or trying to overclock. A couple great monitoring programs I never go without though are GPUZ and CPUID.

    K thanks. I have Windows XP 32bit.

The wireless on my dell is connecting at 130mbps N so it is something with the 9262.

When setting the wireless card in device manager

802.11n Mode under the value the box i checked for use default value and enabled is grayed out.

All the way down at the bottom under
    Wireless Mode it only gives
    a,b,g
    a
    b
    g
    separately

You mean that if I get a 9262 that the wireless won't turn on automatically? And there's no way to set it to do so?

Welll, the only other thing I can think of is check to make sure the drivers for your wireless adapter are up to date, or to try unistalling and reinstalling them. If that does not work, then I would be tempted to say that they gave you a abg card without N capabilities by accident

@theZoid, considerate it a power saving feature!

Check your wireless settins. N required WPA and AES security.
I had no problems with WiFi N with my 9262 or my M570TU.

Even my low-brow HP can do it ;)

You might be able to use something like AutoHotKey to enable the bluetooth on each boot.
