I was looking for alternative clevo resellers and I found this one. Someone knows them? Are they reliable? What about the paste they use (see link below and the picture in it)? Is it worth spending some more bucks?

    PS
sorry for asking in the wrong board

They're chill, they have a rep on this forum.

That paste is one of the better ones I would say (for nonconductive)

The main Sager/Clevo sellers are as follows:
    XoticPC
    HIDEvolution
    Prostar
    LPC-Digital
    Eurocom (also Canada)
    GenTechPC (also Canada)
    AVADirect
    ObsidianPC
    Mythlogic
    Origin
    ReflexNotebook (Canada)

There are more in The EU/UK as well.

    Edit: through Sager directly too!

    I'm considering UK/EU only.

So they do a good job in repasting? Good to know. Do you know pcspecialist? They have the best prices it seems.

Im from Portugal and im thinking of buying there my clevo p640rf, they seem to offer the best service and they are well known here for it.
Im just waiting to see if there will be a refresh to the graphic card, i think the gtx 1050m is going to be out anytime soon, i think...

I would go PCSpecialist in the UK in that case, their prices seem to be the most competitive.

We do not charge extra for the thermal paste, what do you mean by "worth spending some more bucks"?

Obviously I was reffering to the overall cost. :)

Same configuration on pcspecialist is almost 200€ less...

Oops, It was the 15'' version on the other site. However there's still quite a difference, let me be more precise:

    P670RP6-G
    17.3'' FHD IPS
    6700HQ
    GTX 1060
    8GB RAM
    SSD 500GB (SAMSUNG 750 EVO)
    WINDOWS 10 Home

almost 1750€ on obsidian; around 1630€ on pcspecialist (Defiance III). Am I missing something?

Oh that is actually a out of stock model, we have not touched the price on that unit since we do not know the price for the new stock that should only arrive by the end of the month.
No one seems to have that one in stock, you will have to wait a long time.
An updated price and immediate delivery can be found with the 6820HK, unfortunatly you can´t compare it since PCS do not seem to sell that one anymore.

I don't need (neither want) the 6820HK, and more or less waiting can never be avoided.

Point is, if I order (or pre-order if you prefer) on your site today would be around 120€ more. :)

Yeah i see, well i guess you should go with them then, we will not touch the price anytime soon, not untill i am sure about the price per unit i will be getting.
As far as i know, they are a good shop so you should be very happy :)

EDIT: btw, if you add the 30 days pixels warranty, their thermal paste, the fact that our warranty is set @ 2 years pick up and return + lifetime warranty, and even the fact we set our build times in 3 days, to get all this in PCS configurator their price will be higher then ours...

But it all comes down to what each client values most.
