    I am considering buying the Obsidian Updater Tool.
    Is that worth it?
    Would it work on a regular non-obsidian Clevo NH57AF1?

    it works on all clevos it supports doesnt need to be obsidian

    Unless it gives you access to custom BIOS updates I dont see the need for a program to search drivers..
    Windows update can do it, and you dont need to update your chipset driver every month.
    Just my 2 cents.

    it only provides BIOS updates for the Obsidian-branded laptops.
    the drivers' search works on any Clevo machines and the list of supported models is continuously updated.
    but, it does not find anything that can not be found on the internet. it a nice tool for the lazy.
