This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey Ashveratu! What OS did you pick with your 9261?

    Sager is having issues with SLI 8700's and 4GB of RAM. I'm not sure of the details but it's holding up my laptop. You seem to have the same configuration and your laptop passed testing (I'm assuming it passed since you said it shipped already).

    I picked Vista 64 business so maybe that's the issue.

    Hmm... I wonder if this is also a problem with 32-bit Vista, which I expect will only recognize 3.5 or so of those 4 gigs...
