    Hello,

I think the gpu on my D901C dies. It gave me a blue screen and then it started to put horizontal lines to the screen and if I try to install the nvidia driver it crashes.
I would like to buy a new or second hand gpu, but the ones on ebay which are MXM 2.1 I,II,III, or IV are coming from different laptops like asus an HP. If I buy one od those will it work in my D901C or is it required a vBIOS flash?

I also noticed that some ATI cards can physically fit. Does anyone know if it is possible to use one of those, they tend to be cheaper.

I am not interested in performance on this laptop, but rather being able to use longer for browsing and skype.

    Thanks
