The one feature I miss on my NP9280 is the lack of any kind of dedicated volume control. You have to use the Fn+ F5/F6 keys to adjust the volume. This cumbersome when in a game.

Has anyone been able to assign the volume control to the dedicated game buttons or even the Hot-Key buttons? I tried, and the "Fn" key is not recognized when programming these keys.

You should be able to make the Game Keys or the top hotkeys control the volume.

I only tested that in XP... not Vista.

Also, if you have a gaming mouse, you can probably set the hot keys on the mouse to control volume.
