Whenever I use a Fn key command, it doesn't show the command icon in the top-left corner of the screen anymore. :/

You say it doesn't show anymore, so I'm assuming it used to work. I believe those notifications are handled by the Hotkey program that comes bundled on the driver disc. Make sure you have that installed. If you do, perhaps you can try removing it and then reinstalling.

Yeah, reinstall Hotkey from the provided disc of drivers.

Thanks, problem solved. I did reinstall it previously, but it must have been unsuccessful.

I find it odd that I could still use the Fn key without Hotkey running or even installed though. How is that possible?

The long and short of it is that the FN key combinations actually talk to the Embedded Controller (EC) chip on the motherboard, that actually does the action. The hotkey program just shows you a pretty little icon.
