Ive got a DELL E521, its got 4 gigs ram, 8600 gt gpu, and its an AMD 64x2 4400+. I can play Call of duty 4 on mid-low settings at 800 res.

Ok, my question is, will the np8660 in my sig, out perform the dell in gaming/graphics? and if so, will it be a substantial amount?

Thanks in advance for your well thought out answers :)

Yes, the 8600 is a mid-level card while the 8800 GTX / 9800 GT is a high end gaming card. As of this writing the most powerful available. Probably double the 3D'06 scores.

yep. if you're playing CoD4 on low @ 800 res, you'll be playing it @ native res. on high settings just fine.
