How would you go about to open up the M860TU beacuse I would really want to make a clean sweap with compressed air and get all the crap out of there so when I close it up again Im going to put a very thin plastic cover over the keyboard so there wont get anymore dirt inside. Is there a way you could do this or is it to risky?

    thanks

The dust and dirt are not from the keyboard but from the vents. To open it up, all your need is a screw driver.

Nirvana: yeah Im well aware of that ; ) but you get a lot of crap slipping in between the keys on your keyboard, thats why I was wondering if there was I way to open that part up : )

Luke1708: yeah Im not so sure either but I worried that it will shorten its lifespan a bit if it doenst get cleaned beneth there?

The back of the keyboard looks like this:

As you can see there's no way those "crap" can slip through.

The fan is not attached to the bottom panel like the manual shows, so there's no need to worry about that.
