I've recently encountered a problem with a loose connector on my clevo notebook, which I'd like to fix. I could send it to my reseller as it is still under warranty but this will probably take weeks, weeks that I don't have.
So I'm wondering - how "much" of the notebook can I dissasemble without breaking warranty? I know removing the back panel isn't a problem, but how "deep" can I go without breaking the warranty?
I have also gotten indications from my reseller that if I try to fix a minor issue with the keyboard myself, warranty will be lost. Basically they said removing anything else than the back cover will void my warranty. Is this true?

If it's a non-Sager branded Clevo, then it will depend on the reseller you purchased from. I know that we allow customers to open their notebooks and make upgrades i.e. CPU, GPU, HDD, RAM - without voiding their warranty, but other resellers might be more strict than that, so you will just have to go by what your reseller says.
You can also read the warranty contract to see what it says about voiding the warranty. -
As long as you are careful and don't break and warranty stickers, how are they going to know?
I'm not suggesting doing something that could void your warranty - just putting it out there...
Opening your notebook - warranty
