I need a decent computer with a quality screen (glossy) and all around good performance. Graphics and screen resolution do matter to me, as does the speed of the processor. Also, does anyone know much about Sager's support for their computers?

    Thanks in advance

The resellers have much better support and customer service, along with longer warranties for no additional cost.

Also, seeing how the 5160 is being "replaced" by the 5165, I would recommend the latter if you are concerned about support later down the line.

What did you plan to do with it? The 3250, 5160, and 5165 all offer pretty much the same CPU choices, but differ in graphics greatly. They've got the 525m, 540m, and 555m respectively. You may find the link below helpful for comparisons. The 5165/555m is the best choice if you plan to do any decent amount of gaming.

Resellers are your best bet for customer service. Anyone on the boards here with gray names on the left are representatives/resellers.

Thanks for the advice and the graphics comparisons! I'm not really into very many games, so I may have been slightly misleading with my graphics comment. Basically I won't be playing any high end games so any one of the choices with simply decent graphics should do. Sorry about that I sort of mistyped :(

sounds like you probably just need the 3250. the intel igp is actually decent and does hi def and blu ray quite nice. i was actually surprised at the blu ray and dvd upscale quality, but that could be partly to the thrown in software.

If you do not care about graphics IMO the 3250 would be a good fit. :)

I'd say the 5160, I was between the two... but with the same configurations, the price difference was only $15
