I'm going to be ordering soon. I'd just like to see if anyone has an opinion on this price. It's an M571RU. (5792/5793)

    WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 Matte
    Intel Core 2 Duo® T7700: 2.40GHz
    2GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce Go 8800M GTX
    200GB; SATA-300; 7,200rpm
    Intel® Wireless WiFi 4965AGN
    Bluetooth
    1.3 Megapixel webcam
    No operating system

    $2379

I can up the processor to a T9300 Penryn for another $130, but I doubt I'll see that much of a difference.

By the way, is XoticPC planning on offering the silver-style case any time soon? That's almost the only thing holding me back from that reseller. Shallow of me, huh?

Alright, I'll be honest here. I'm in Canada, and one of my peeves is hassles at the border and overly expensive shipping. I've heard that some people have been doing UPS Air or something like that to Canada and have been able to avoid border fees, and in some cases, taxes too. But when it comes to shipping it back (should I ever need a repair) what are costs going to be like?

(And I could probably learn to live with the orange and black if I had to. After all, it's the machine inside that matters.)

Eurocom is canada based, I believe,so order from them and no border fees :) ( http://www.eurocom.ca/) The laptop is called EUROCOM M57RU DIVINE-X under mobile workstations. Also, I heard the orange and black combo looks really nice in person ;)

Yeah, I'm just a little worried about their LCDs. I've heard that some other people had repetitive problems with dead pixels and/or light leakage.
