I swear to god this touchpad is driving me crazy. ive endured it for 1 year now but today was enough. I fuked it up. Its a huge scar on it now. Is it possible to buy a new replacment without having to send it in?

Im so angry this useless touchpad.

    Thanks.

I looked around and I didn't seem to find any for sale. Probably because it's an OEM product. Is it a sentelic touchpad?

The touchpads of notebooks are usually glued into the top casing.

if possible id like to remove it and glue on a new one and connect it to the mobo.

im tired of my pad. It still works but go nuts daily and i have to connect a mouse til it works.

I love my laptop but the touch pad ruins errthing when i dont have mouse available.

You would need to find one with the same connector.

My vendor should be able to hook me up. i pay them a reasonable prize. If i sent it in they would have to arder a new one anyways.

But I dont want to wait 100 years for my pc to get fixed so id rather do it my self.

Yes it's not normal to go berserk every so often so a new one should hopefully fix it, but it is tricky, it may end up being an entire new top panel.

Have you tried disabling some of the gestures? I find the pinch to zoom ones (where you pinch and push) alone greatly improves the touchpad.

Also, fix the pointer speed to '10' and the page scroll to '3'. It makes it more useable (at least for me, it mimics the asus/mac touchpad more that way)
