those things are such a good deal right now. that seems to be made on a budget, so its hard to recommend upgrades, but if you have a little extra money i think the next cpu has twice the cache as the one you have there, it would be a decent increace in performance to have a larger cache. there is nothing wrong with UPS ground, although it does take alittle longer its proabably worth it since any extra money would be better spent on upgrades.

false. 6MB cache offer less than 5% performance gain compare to 3MB cache.

for normal user and gaming, WUSXGA is a bad idea, it will hurt your fps! WSXGA+ is good enough though!

Finally ordered it. Made the mistake of ordering the 5100 though. I have not paid yet, so I sent them an e-mail to replace it to 5300. I ordered it two days ago. do you think they will fix it for me? Traveling over to a friend in Atlanta in three weeks so it will be exciting to pick it up. :)

I think it wouldn't take more than a day or two. Shipping might take a little longer though.

I ordered mine last Thursday morning.
Upgraded the LCD and processor and got the 5300 as well. Can't wait to get it tomorrow since no one delivers on Thanksgiving.

That's a thought! Perhaps it means that the builder has had a priest/imam/rabbi/<your favorite religious/spiritual advisor's title here> come in and give the system a blessing before it's released to shipping. :D

Testes: The testis (or testicle) is the male *** gland.

    Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

At any rate, most people tend to run Windows Experience Index (for all the good that does) as well as downloading 3dmark06 and giving it a shot. A reminder, there's a variation in 3dmark06 scores, so don't start panicking if your score seems lower than you expected. You may also wish to download HW monitor to check out your CPU/GPU temps.

Also, look for any physical defects. Another issue you may want to check is the 5793's headphone jack. I.E. here

    2. i c 2 programme files files, 1 with a (x86) after it, which shd i install programes into it?
    3. another problem: the default mp3 player now has become nero3 ?! how can i change it into window media player

    1) Hold ctrl key and either press +/- to increase/decrease font or use the mouse wheel.

    3) Right click a mp3 file, propeties, and find the Opens With option and then select "Change". WMP should be on the list of recommended programs.

the reason you have 2 program files folders is that you are running windows 64bit.

64bit programs go in program files, 32bit programs go in program files(x86).

In general the programs should choose the correct folder automatically
